THE TECHNOLOGY

Solhyd’s hydrogen panels are modules that use solar energy to produce hydrogen gas. They are similar to classical solar photovoltaics, but instead of an electric cable, they are connected via gas tubes. Just like solar panels, they can be used in many ways.

• The panel captures moisture from the air, extracting water molecules as the air flows through the device.

• Sunlight powers the panel, driving the conversion of captured water molecules into hydrogen gas, with increased sunlight leading to greater hydrogen production.

• The panel splits water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, utilizing sunlight as its energy source using cost-effective, readily available materials without precious metals.

• It releases pure green hydrogen at low pressure through an outlet, with the water-splitting process also generating pure oxygen, which is safely released into the environment without causing harm.
